1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

This Shipping and Delivery Policy (the “Policy”) establishes the legally binding terms and conditions governing the dispatch, transit, and delivery of products purchased from Sparkslette (hereinafter referred to as the "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). The Company is registered in the People’s Republic of China, with its principal operating address at 北村路101号, 奉贤区, SH, 201416, CN. Our primary commercial focus is the provision of curated mock jewellery to consumers residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the broader Middle East region.

By placing an order through our Services, you (the "Customer") explicitly agree to the stipulations outlined in this Policy. Please be advised that all shipments originate from our fulfillment centers in the People’s Republic of China and are strictly subject to international logistics timelines and cross-border customs regulations.

2. CASH ON DELIVERY (COD) TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To accommodate regional consumer preferences, the Company predominantly utilizes Cash on Delivery (COD) as the primary method of transaction. The election of COD subjects the Customer to the following rigorous conditions:

  • Mandatory Order Verification: To mitigate fraudulent transactions and international logistics losses, all COD orders are subject to a strict verification protocol. Upon placing an order, the Customer may be contacted via SMS, WhatsApp, or voice call to explicitly confirm the purchase and the delivery details. Failure to verify the order within forty-eight (48) hours will result in the automatic cancellation of the order.

  • Payment at Doorstep: The Customer is legally obligated to remit the full invoice amount in the local currency of the destination country (e.g., UAE Dirhams - AED) to the authorized logistics courier at the exact time of delivery. Exact change is highly recommended.

  • Refusal of Delivery: The dispatch of an international parcel incurs significant logistical and export costs. Refusal to accept and pay for a confirmed COD order upon arrival at the designated address constitutes a material breach of the purchase agreement. The Company unequivocally reserves the right to permanently suspend the Customer’s account, ban the Customer’s IP address and physical address from future purchases, and revoke all future COD privileges.

  • Non-Transferability: The courier is strictly instructed to hand over the parcel only after the full cash amount has been collected. Under no circumstances may the Customer open or inspect the parcel prior to the settlement of the full invoice amount.

3. ORDER PROCESSING TIMELINES

  • Processing Period: Standard order processing and packaging require three (3) to five (5) business days following successful COD verification. Processing occurs Monday through Friday, excluding Chinese national holidays and UAE public holidays.

  • Dispatch Notification: Upon handover to our international logistics partner, the Customer will receive a formal dispatch notification containing the applicable tracking details.

4. SHIPPING DESTINATIONS AND TRANSIT TIMES

  • Service Areas: We predominantly ship to residential and commercial addresses within the UAE and select countries within the Middle East. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes due to the intrinsic requirements of the COD payment method.

  • Estimated Delivery Windows: Standard international transit times from our facilities in China to the UAE/Middle East typically range from seven (7) to fifteen (15) business days.

  • Force Majeure: The Company shall not be held liable for delivery delays arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to customs clearance bottlenecks, severe weather conditions, regional disruptions, or carrier-specific operational failures.

5. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND TAXES

Given the cross-border nature of your transaction:

  • Import Regulations: The Customer acts as the Importer of Record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

  • Taxes and Duties: The total amount displayed at checkout and confirmed during the COD verification process generally includes applicable local taxes (such as the 5% UAE Value Added Tax) and standard customs duties, which will be collected by the courier upon delivery. However, should the local customs authority levy any unforeseen duties, tariffs, or administrative fees upon physical importation, these remain the absolute and sole responsibility of the Customer.

6. DELIVERY PROTOCOL AND CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

  • Address Accuracy: The Customer bears the sole responsibility for providing a meticulously accurate and complete delivery address, including building name, flat/villa number, street name, city, and a valid, active mobile contact number. The Company absolves itself of any liability for delayed or failed deliveries resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Delivery Attempts: Our logistics partners will typically make up to three (3) delivery attempts. The courier will attempt to contact the Customer via the provided mobile number prior to arrival.

  • Unreachable Customers: If the logistics partner is entirely unable to reach the Customer or access the delivery location after the maximum allotted attempts, the parcel will be classified as a "Failed Delivery" and returned to our regional sorting hub. Such an event will trigger the penalties associated with "Refusal of Delivery" as outlined in Section 2.

7. TITLE AND RISK OF LOSS

The legal title to the merchandise, as well as the risk of loss or damage, transfers fully from the Company to the Customer at the exact moment the parcel is physically delivered to the designated address and the full COD payment is securely collected by the courier.

8. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY

The Company reserves the unilateral right to amend, alter, or update this Shipping and Delivery Policy at our sole discretion, without prior individual notice. All amendments become legally effective immediately upon publication on our website. Your continued use of the Services implies your binding acceptance of any such modifications.
