1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
This Refund and Return Policy (the “Policy”) governs the terms and conditions under which Sparkslette (hereinafter referred to as the "Company," "we," "us," or "our") accepts returns, issues refunds, and processes exchanges for products purchased through our e-commerce platform. The Company is legally registered in the People’s Republic of China, with its principal place of business at 北村路101号, 奉贤区, SH, 201416, CN, and primarily serves consumers within the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the broader Middle East region.
By placing an order with the Company, you (the "Customer") expressly acknowledge, understand, and agree to be bound by the stipulations set forth herein. This Policy is drafted in accordance with applicable e-commerce standards and respects the principles of the UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, insofar as they apply to cross-border transactions.
2. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS
The Company operates a strict quality control environment. However, should you be dissatisfied with your purchase, you may initiate a return subject to the following absolute conditions:

Timeframe: You must initiate a return request within seven (7) calendar days from the date the shipment is recorded as delivered to your designated address by our logistics partner.

Condition of Merchandise: The product must be in its original, unused, unworn, and unaltered condition.

Packaging and Tags: All original packaging, including branded boxes, pouches, protective films, and hygiene seals or security tags, must be fully intact and unremoved. Any indication that a security tag has been tampered with or removed will render the item strictly ineligible for return.
3. NON-RETURNABLE AND NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS
To ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards, and due to the specific nature of our products (mock and fashion jewellery), the following items are expressly excluded from our return and refund policy:

Pierced Jewellery: For strict hygiene and sanitary reasons, earrings and any other pierced jewellery cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances once the sealed packaging has been opened, unless deemed structurally defective upon immediate receipt.

Custom or Personalized Items: Any bespoke, engraved, or made-to-order pieces.

Clearance and Promotional Items: Products purchased during a "Final Sale," clearance event, or utilizing specific promotional discount codes, unless otherwise explicitly stated in writing by the Company.
4. DEFECTIVE, DAMAGED, OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If you receive a product that is structurally defective, damaged in transit, or deviates materially from your original order, you must notify our Customer Support team within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery.

Reporting Protocol: Claims must be submitted via email to jiangyin.sparkslette@gmail.com, accompanied by high-resolution photographic evidence of the defect/damage and the original shipping parcel.

Mock Jewellery Disclaimer: Please note that our products are classified as "mock" or fashion jewellery. Natural tarnishing, oxidation, or fading of plating caused by exposure to moisture, humidity (common in the Middle East), perfumes, cosmetics, or acidic skin pH constitutes normal wear and tear and is expressly exempt from being classified as a "defect."
5. RETURN AUTHORIZATION PROCESS
The Company strictly rejects unauthorized returns. To validly execute a return, the Customer must adhere to the following procedure:

Request an RMA: Contact our Customer Support team at jiangyin.sparkslette@gmail.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

Approval & Instructions: Upon preliminary verification, we will issue an RMA number alongside the designated return shipping address (which will be a specified facility in the PRC, unless otherwise advised).

Dispatch: The return package must be dispatched within seven (7) calendar days of receiving the RMA number. The RMA number must be clearly inscribed on the exterior of the parcel.
Parcels returned without a valid RMA number, or "Return to Sender" packages without prior authorization, will be refused or forfeited without liability to the Company.
6. SHIPPING COSTS AND LIABILITY
Given the cross-border nature of our transactions between China and the Middle East:

Return Shipping Fees: The Customer bears full responsibility for all shipping costs, logistics fees, and any associated export/import documentation required to return the item to our designated facility in China.

Risk of Loss: The Company assumes no liability for return shipments lost, delayed, or damaged in transit. We rigorously advise the use of an insured, trackable courier service (e.g., DHL, FedEx, Aramex).

Original Shipping Charges: Shipping fees incurred on the original order are non-refundable. If your order qualified for "Free Shipping," the actual cost of outbound shipping incurred by the Company may be deducted from your final refund amount.
7. CUSTOMS DUTIES, VAT, AND TAXES
Any customs duties, clearance fees, import taxes, or Value Added Tax (VAT) (e.g., the 5% UAE VAT) levied by your local customs authorities upon the original importation of the goods are entirely non-refundable by the Company. Should you require a refund of such state-levied taxes, you must liaise directly with the relevant regional customs or tax authority.
8. INSPECTION AND REFUND ISSUANCE
Upon receipt of the returned merchandise at our facility, our Quality Assurance team will conduct a comprehensive inspection.

Approval: If the return satisfies all stipulations of this Policy, a refund will be authorized.

Rejection: If the item demonstrates signs of wear, perfume residue, physical damage, or lacks original packaging, the return will be legally rejected. The Customer will be notified, and the item may be shipped back to the Customer at the Customer’s sole expense.

Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days following the completion of the inspection.

Method of Refund: Funds will be credited strictly back to the original method of payment (e.g., the specific credit card or PayPal account used during checkout). We cannot issue refunds to alternate cards or via alternative payment methods to comply with international Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations. Please allow an additional processing period dictated by your financial institution for the funds to reflect in your account.
9. EXCHANGES
Due to the logistical complexities and transit times associated with international shipping to the Middle East, we do not facilitate direct exchanges. If you require a different size, color, or item, you must process a return for the unwanted item in accordance with this Policy and place a new, independent order through the Services.
10. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY
The Company reserves the unequivocal right to amend, alter, or update this Refund and Return Policy at any time without prior individual notice. Any modifications shall be effective immediately upon being posted on our website. Your continued use of the Services post-modification constitutes your legally binding acceptance of the revised terms.
